SkADaMo sketch #2: Nov 2
Second "Sketch a Day".
This one is Kitty Alley lying on the table beside my computer. I was trying to sketch as fast as possible but of course she still moved.
Finding it frustrating to not understand properly how to get the 2B Pencil brush in Painter to go wider when I tilt it and draw in certain directions for the black. Not much control. Good exercise though.
Yes Painter Real 2B Pencil. Frustrating in that when I used the "side of the stylus" in a SW/NE angle, I could get a fat dark shading line, but not when I went NW/SE... then even if I tilted the stylus, I'd get a thin point-like line. Playing around with "Pressure" "Tilt" "angle" etc on the options... But yes, I do like the pencil brushes on a cintiq! Thanks!
What do you find hard about digital June? I find it frustrating that I can't always get the line I want, nor move the paper around to different angles as easily (I have a 21" cintiq)
Wow, you did this in Painter? Beautiful work.

DeleteAmazed that you can sketch so well with digital. I still use paper and pencil. Love the contented feel of the cat :)
